Project Solution:

We decided to test mobile application with automation testing. The main objective to run test cases with automation is saving time, increasing reliability, less involvement manual efforts.

Harrier developed an automated script of mobile app on android platform using “Appium” automation tool with Selenium WebDriver, programmed in Java.

We wrote the test scripts and test cases using the automation tool and then grouped them into test suites. Once we developed script of module, we execute same script for different versions of apk during testing.

Test cases were executed by using automation tool so less tester are required in automation testing. No manual intervention is required while executing an automated test suite. Automated testing is a practical option when the test cases are run repeatedly over a long time period.
