The Solution:

We told Ashish that the team can continue to work from home as if they are working from office. There is no change required in their behaviour and the systems are ready and equipped. Ashish was surprised and relieved with the answer as he expected us to ask for a couple of days to get the systems ready for everyone to access and use from home, though he was still a bit skeptical. After a week, we got a call from Mr. Jagdish Udeshi, GM at Derivium, thanking us for the smooth transition to WFH for the entire staff without any glitches at all.

When Mumbai experienced an extremely rare event of a complete power outage for half of the day on a Monday morning, the systems were up and running during the power outage thanks to our IT infrastructure team who closely monitored the situation and ensured that all the critical components of the IT infrastructure are available during the power outage and the UPS sustains the load till the power supply is restored.
